Our team relies on leading technology to deploy, operate, and scale cloud servers for multiplayer experiences on the web. Pearl Land metaverse will always be online, secure and available for any NFT holder to access. Pearl Land securely deploys any Metaverse into running instances, load-balances traffic across fleets of online servers, monitors instance and server health, and takes care of unhealthy instances. \

### Additional Sets

While there will be many Pearl Lands to discover and battle on launch, we aren’t going to stop there. Their finite nature necessitates the production of additional Lands. These will be voted on by the DAO and released at steady intervals, as the rarity of the preceding set increases. This does not mean that early sets will disappear completely, because players will still exchange them for a long time after. But over time due to the fusion mechanic, their numbers can drop, which means their rarity will most likely go up over time. We believe owning Generation 1 Lands will be very impressive in the coming years.

### Defining an IIP

The purpose of Pearl Land Proposals (IIPs) is to ensure changes to Pearl Land are transparent and well-governed. An IIP is a design document providing information to the Pearl Land community about a proposed change to the system. The author is responsible for building consensus within the community and documenting dissenting opinions. There will be a separate blog posted later on how to correctly write an IIP.

Improvements made via IIPs may include:

* **New contracts**
* **New systems**
* **Expansions**
* **Character sets**
